Overview

Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Everything was perfect! It was a beautiful experience..so relaxing and enjoyable! The paddle upstream was breathtaking. Our guide Ashley was very knowledgeable and helpful. She let us take our time and soak in the beauty ..the children loved our swim breaks in the gorgeous crystal spring waters. Ashley shared her knowledge of the wildlife, the vegetation and Florida in general. A gorgeous break from the hustle & bustle of the them parks. Will definitely do it again!

This was an amazing experience for us. The waters are so clear and gorgeous and our guide Ashley was very informative, knew a lot about the environment and the surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the river. Such a beautiful river. If you have any reservations about being a first time kayaker, it’s really not that hard! Going upstream was a bit of work but totally worth it! We saw lots of fish, a very large woodpecker and a turtle. It was so fun!!!
