Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Ashley our tour guide was amazing, she deserves a raise!! She took awesome photos and videos of us without us even having to ask, she was super knowledgeable about the plant and animal life, and she made sure we all went at our own comfortable paces! The river was absolutely beautiful, it was a pretty crystal clear green (its usually blue, but due to the flooding from the hurricane it was green, but still beautiful) and it was perfect weather. It was the highlight of my girlfriend's birthday trip!!

My wife and I spent time in Florida during the Thanksgiving break and we were really glad we found this tour online! Kayaking in a beautiful spring is an amazing experience! Our guide Jeremy was a 5-star instructor, very patient and clear. Strongly recommend this tour!

Ashley was an amazing guide and super knowledgeable. It was a hugely enjoyable morning! The water was crystal clear and scenery was exactly what we were looking to experience. Saw some cool fish and plant life. Well worth the money and time if you are in the Orlando area!
