Enjoy a unique kayaking experience on this Small-Group Guided Glass Bottom Kayak Eco Tour of Rock Springs in Florida. Begin your tour with a quick tutorial on basic paddle instructions and information about the tour ahead. Your kayak tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5-hours depending on the speed of our group and any wildlife we may see along the way. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and take pictures at several of the picturesque stopping points along the way (there will even be a couple chances for you to get out and enjoy the refreshing Spring water!) The first half of the paddle will be upstream towards the headspring of Rock Springs and the second half will be a gentle coast back to our launch point. Be ready to learn unique facts about the area and spot the local nature and wildlife along the way. Animals you may see: turtles, birds, fish, otters, deer, alligators, and more!

Weight Restriction: 425 pounds per boat (two guests) and no more than 250 pounds per seat (individual)
For every minor participating, there needs to be an adult to accompany them within the kayak. Children must be at least 3yrs old to participate.
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single. Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak as a single.

We agree to practice social distancing. Please keep a safe distance of at least 6 feet from guests in another party. We commit to not pair you with a guest from another party and to perform enhanced cleaning measures in between tours.

What To Expect

Rock Springs Run

We will start the tour at King's Landing and paddle into a unique part of Rock Springs Run known as "Emerald Cut". This portion of the waterway is a beautiful greenish/blue tint with tree canopies overhead. There's a hidden jump platform that we allow guests to take a leap from if they choose.

Globally, I loved my experience because the place is wonderful, but the experience was disapointing. 2 people arrived late and we waited for them like 15 minutes. All the time we had to refrain ourself to wait the group (and it’s not because we were fast, it was my very first time kayaking and i wasn’t really good). We were 3 group with an average speed allllllways waiting (eaten alive by mosquitos but I think it’s not always as bad as the day we were there for the mosquitos). At one point, the guide told us we won’t make it to the end (where the blue water and the wonderful view is) and we will have to turn back. I was so disapointed. Maybe the groups are too big or the time allowed for the ride too short ?

We're glad you were able to enjoy the springs as they are beautiful! For any tardy guests, we may offer a short grace period for them to arrive if they’ve provided us with their ETA. Our experience is a guided tour that lasts for 2-2.5 hours depending on the speed of the group & we welcome paddlers of all skill levels. We apologize that you didn’t make it to the top of the springs but we always ensure our guests have the correct time on the water as this is what the experience promises. Wow, what an experience. Our tour guide Britney was fantastic. She made us newbies feel at ease. The natural spring water is beautiful. We went at the end of the day which meant it was quieter. A few bends were tricky to navigate and much fun was had with our heads in the side of palm trees or bushes. Lots of stops to get out of the clear kayak. Fantastic afternoon and can not recommend it enough. The shared toilet facilities were worse than after a week at a festival. As the location is remote I would recommend using a bathroom somewhere else. Really lets the place down and I would recommend all the vendors who hire from the owners need to ensure these are upgraded and cleaned more. I still award Britney and the clear Kayaking as the toilets are not their fault.

My girlfriend and I were visiting from California for the thanksgiving holidays and had a great time with Ashley! It was a perfect day out and she provided us with a fun time while guiding us. The clear kayaks are awesome, especially on the clear water full of little fish. Very peaceful! We visit Florida at least once a year and definitely plan on scheduling another trip. Highly recommend!
