Once you arrive, you’re greeted and start training for your own Segway i2! From there, we hit the sidewalks and streets off to explore the Paris of the South. It is an unforgettable way to tour a large area. Please ignore all of the flashbulbs going off while you tour the city as you may become an instant celebrity!

My husband and I went with two friends and toured downtown Asheville with Wes, our guide. We live in town and didn't expect to learn much history, but wanted to ride the segways. We were surprised that Wes shared many interesting facts about Asheville and Western North Carolina that we hadn't heard before - and he made us laugh a lot. And the sedways were so much fun!!! They were very easy to control after just a few minutes of coaching. Our friends had a great time as well and were able to see so much more than if we had been walking. I would recommend this tour for locals as well as visitors.

This was our third time doing a Segway tour and we had a great time, as always! Wes was terrific, patient and good humored. I highly recommend this as a very fun way to get to know Asheville!

After our original plans fell through, we randomly stumbled across the Segway tours. While waiting in the visitor center for out group, we were confused why so many more people seemed to be going on the trolley tours instead. We ended up being by ourselves with our tour guide. After a quick orientation with the segways, we started on an awesome 2-1/2 hr. tour around Asheville. Our tour guide was knowledgable, humorous, and showed us an awesome time around the city. We will look for Segway tours in any new city we visit from now on, as it is now our favorite way to explore a town you are visiting. Skip the trolley tours, and scoot on over to the Asheville Moving Sidewalk Segway Tours instead!
