What To Expect

Charleston City Hall

The tour will begin in front of City Hall which is one of the pillars of the "Four Corners of Law" which also includes the Courthouse, the Post Office and St Michaels Church at the intersection of Meeting Street and Broad Street. From here you will explore many notable sites in the French Quarter and the residential area "South of Broad".

Rainbow Row

Learn the history behind the famous Rainbow Row, one of the most photographed sites in Charleston. Rainbow Row is located in the "South of Broad" neighborhood which we will explore and includes many historically significant homes including the antebellum mansions located along the famous "Battery". ***Please note that stops along the tour may vary.***

Battery & White Point Gardens

Explore the residential area "South of Broad" including the Battery with views over the water to Fort Sumter.

This was a very nice tour, very well organized and everybody was as friendly as could be. Got reminder emails and texts the day before and the day of the tour with very clear directions where to meet. Our tour guy, Mark, was excellent. He obviously knew the city very well and guide us through almost all the main downtown/historical area/French Quarter buildings describing the history and many interesting facts. Most of us in the group were unaware of the fascinating history of the area and the confluence of multiple cultures that created this very walkable town. I would very highly recommend the store. After the tour completed, Mark gave us tips of some local restaurants to eat lunch as well as which disorder. We took his advice and went to 82 Queen St. and had a fantastic lunch of barbecued shrimp grits.
