What To Expect

Charleston City Hall

The tour will begin in front of City Hall which is one of the pillars of the "Four Corners of Law" which also includes the Courthouse, the Post Office and St Michaels Church at the intersection of Meeting Street and Broad Street. From here you will explore many notable sites in the French Quarter and the residential area "South of Broad".

Rainbow Row

Learn the history behind the famous Rainbow Row, one of the most photographed sites in Charleston. Rainbow Row is located in the "South of Broad" neighborhood which we will explore and includes many historically significant homes including the antebellum mansions located along the famous "Battery". ***Please note that stops along the tour may vary.***

Battery & White Point Gardens

Explore the residential area "South of Broad" including the Battery with views over the water to Fort Sumter.

So easy to message the tour operator when one of our party was ill requiring reschedule for the following day. Christina messaged back within 10 minutes and was so kind. On the day of the tour she also added an extra person and sent confirmation email. Mark Jones, our tour guide, was animated and knowledgeable with just the right amount of history and story telling to make things fun. Thoroughly enjoyed learning more of how and why things happened in Charleston. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely afternoon with our incredibly knowledgeable and funny guide Dennis. This tour was a perfect introduction to Charleston. We left with a deeper understanding of the history, architecture and traditions of this beautiful city. We will return again and continue to explore the city.
