2-Hour Horse Rides Capitol Reef

Overview

We offer beautiful 2-hour horseback rides. We operate our horseback rides in one of the most picturesque places in the west. Our friendly and well-trained horses will take you on trail through the washes of the water pocket fold of Capitol Reef National Park. We provide water and trail snacks for you while on our ride. Our horse wranglers are local to the area and are all season veterans in western horseback riding. All of our trips are fully guided. Each person will ride their own horse. We do not allow doubles. You must be 8 years old to participate. Our wranglers are experts on local history and well versed in the flora and fauna of our area. Come join us for a wonderful trail ride. We are family owned and operated business.

Highly recommend. Mike did an awesome job. Took the time to explains things and made sure everything was taken care of. The horse were great, very well trained trial riders. The view is amazing!! We had great conversations, Mike has some fun cowboy stories. Once the ride was over, we had so much fun talking to Mike we hung around for another half hour like we were old friends. Thanks Mike for an incredible experience! Would definitely do this again!

Very flexible. Rain was threatening at our scheduled time, and Mike allowed us to push it back until the weather cleared. The good: Riding instructions, jaw dropping scenery, saw a rattlesnake and a coyote. The could have done without: Ten minutes on how great Toby Keith is, political commentary without any consideration for the audience. We were smart enough not to engage.

I wanted to add a simple note if I may: if you are going to the country for a country tour on horseback with a cowboy and going to step into their world I think that is brave and exciting. It allows for most people to see and experience something unique and new. Especially compared to their day to day lives. We are glad you did. Also glad you had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the scenery. Maybe taking it all in and not judging the cowboy, his taste in music or otherwise would be more in line with “staying in your lane”. No one needs to know that you gave a three star review because you loved everything about the trip except the viewpoints of your cowboy that kept you safe and honed his craft over decades of hard work and dedication.
