Private Historical Walking Tour of the Financial District

Overview
Enjoy a private walking tour, where you’ll learn about New York City’s past and present, dating back from the revolutionary war, through the 9/11 memorial, and through to the Financial District today. On your tour, you will see several of the area’s main sites, including City Hall, One World Trade Center, the New York Stock Exchange, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Charging Bull and Fearless Girl statues, and Battery Park. Your tour will end with tickets to the historic Fraunces Tavern Museum, which was bombed by the Red Coats and was where Washington and several revolutionaries used to meet. Please note: this tour only visits the 9/11 memorial, which is outdoor. This tour does not visit the 9/11 museum.

Trinity Church
Visit where George Washington was a regular worshipper, and see the grave of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton; a man who played a key role in America’s economic path and is the namesake of the 11 Tony Award winning Broadway musical.

Fraunces Tavern Museum
Walking within the heart of the old Dutch City, you will also venture down Broad Street – built on the site of a filled-in Dutch canal – to Fraunces Tavern where George Washington dismissed his officers in 1783.

The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum
Your guide will take you through the 9/11 Memorial, while sharing with you the history of the World Trade Center. Please note: tickets to the museum, are not included.

Jason was extremely knowledgeable and he was able to answer all of our questions. He kept us on track throughout the tour, and we covered so much ground from the revolutionary war through 9/11. I highly recommend for anyone interested in history.
