Overview

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time.

Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour.

What To Expect

Goodland Boating Park

ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. We depart from the Goodland Boat Park located at 750 Palm Point Dr, Goodland, FL 34140. This location includes a 5.22 acre park, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to food and allows easy access to the the Ten Thousand Islands and Gulf of Mexico.

We had an amazing afternoon with Elliott and Marco. A long visit with a couple of Pods of Dolphins was followed by a trip through the One Thousand Islands as we made our way to a (nearly) deserted beach. Our guides were so knowledgeable about the Marine Ecosystem, and we learned a lot about the local region. Instead of a busy tourist-filled beach Marco suggested an alternative which we were happy to accept. Taking us to a more isolated island we were able to stroll the beach without any other people around (it was amazing). Over the course of our beach time once again Marco and Elliott shared a bunch of interesting information about how different Mangrove species, plant and sea life along the beach, as well as how Hurricanes are impacting the islands and surrounding area. The guides were great and our tour was leisurely and ‘unrushed’. We would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a great 1/2 day outing in the One Thousand Islands.

We had a great time! Our captains Colleen and Jessica were so knowledgeable, entertaining and gave us the best experience. Highly recommend! This was a great tour for our 5 and 7 year old.
