Overview

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time.

Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour.

What To Expect

Goodland Boating Park

ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. We depart from the Goodland Boat Park located at 740 Palm Point Dr, Goodland, FL 34140. This location includes a 5.22 acre park, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to food and allows easy access to the the Ten Thousand Islands and Gulf of Mexico.

The tour was great. Beautiful day, saw dolphins, manatees, birds. Captain Jessica was excellent in navigating through the myriad of islands we explored and First Mate Katie was very knowledgeable & had informative & fun stories to share. The domes were fascinating & the shelling a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Went out on 2 hour shelling and sightsee boat trip with Florida Adventures on Thursday 8/18/22. It was so a wonderful experience. Captain Marco was awesome and our guide, Colleen, was outstanding. She was so informative and personable. Shared a lot of great information and stories. We found so awesome shells and really enjoyed ourselves. Well worth it!!!!!

We had the best time on our 2 hour ecotour with Florida Adventures. Kathleen and Captain Jessica were awesome. We learned about the history of Marco Island and saw lots of her majestic wildlife. Soon after leaving the dock we encountered manatees and pods of dolphins with their baby calves. They put on quite a show! We saw the osprey and their nests, ibis ,heron and my first roseate spoonbill. A shelling expedition on one of the thousand islands was fun. An incoming storm kept us from visiting Cape Romano however I will plan another tour with them soon. I highly recommend Florida Adventures!
