Overview

Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time.

Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour.

What To Expect

Goodland Boating Park

ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. We depart from the Goodland Boat Park located at 740 Palm Point Dr, Goodland, FL 34140. This location includes a 5.22 acre park, restrooms, concessions for sale from sunscreen to food and allows easy access to the the Ten Thousand Islands and Gulf of Mexico.

The weather has been stormy but we lucked out with weather just good enough to be out on the water Saturday morning. They called us early to let us know we would be going out; excellent customer service. Captain Andrew was great. Saw dolphins and his explanation of the area was good. The shelling island he took us to was totally worth it. I would highly recommend this tour!

Captain Andrew was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide for the Cape Romano Shelling and Sightseeing Boat Tour. The boat ride was great fun and we were lucky to see dolphins, sting-rays, a shark, plus a manatee pop his head out of the water. The shelling beach provided great pickings for me and I collected a whole bag of pristine shells. Captain Andrew was able to identify them plus he gave us a lot of information about the islands and surrounding water.

Our group chartered two boats as there were 8 of us. What a wonderful experience! We had Captain Marco and Captain Andrew. Very knowledgeable. We saw manatees, dolphins playing and getting personal and the Dome houses. Then to the island with shells. The kids went snorkeling and swimming. Will definitely go again.
