Great tour! It was a very chilly November day but the truck was full. We were all buried in blankets. Edna was awesome! She provided some of the blankets. Loved learning about the horse harums. She drove us all through Swan Beach, Carova and even back to the sound looking for horses and we got to see quite a few. Love the fact this company can drive back on some of their own private lands - great to experience the quiet with nothing around you but trees and bushes. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience! It was a cold and windy day. Met the guide and she warned us that it was going to be cold in the back of the 4x4 and she handed out a couple blankets to people. We took off and she was very informative with lots of background on the horses, the history, where they typically meander and what they eat. She also shared that due to the weather being so cold, we would probably see the horses in the brush but not on the beach. Typically they go on the beach and into the water when it’s warm to get away from the flies that bite them. In any event, our expectations were managed that most likely we would not see them on the beach. We took off and drove through sand dunes and the beach. We pulled into an area where there were homes that were vey remote and came upon horses. All throughout the area we saw them and were able to take photos. Our time was up so we started to make our way back. Drove on the beach most of the way and as we were approaching the turn off, we noticed in the distance some large objects on the beach. As we approached we realized they were horses walking on the beach. We stopped the car and got out and witnessed a magnificent site with 5 horses walking past us on the beach. Bucket list item accomplished! I highly recommend this tour!

I'm the horse lover in our group and knew I would enjoy the tour no matter what. but the rest of my crew were not horsey people and I was worried that they might not enjoy it. Not only did they enjoy it, I was profusely thanked for suggesting it and it was a highlight of our trip. Craig was just the right balance of engaging guide who knew when to be quiet. It was a beautiful experience. The ecosystem and the horses were just amazing. It' worth going even if you don't see any horses.
