Patient pleasant guides, fun vehicle. Glad it was Sunday morning and not the usual busy traffic or could have been stressful. Was cold - bring windbreaker. Feet get sore. Guy wiped out twice on Segway and hurt himself - could have taken others down too. Keep your distance!!

I was a little nervous but Shane and Shawn were great at teaching us how to ride the Segway and provided an amazing tour of Old Scottsdale. I would highly recommend this tour.

Overall an interesting and worthwhile experience. We were a group of 10 on a Sunday morning. Liked learning a new form of transportation and covering a lot of area in a short time. The 2 guides were friendly and genuinely interested in making you comfortable on the segways and on the tour. Don’t expect much history on this tour - it’s more just pointing out buildings and restaurants where discounts are provided with the tour badge. Also, a rider in his 60’s crashed twice on the segway. The first time was the guide’s fault as he didn’t mention there was a sign in our path. He was allowed to get back on despite being quite shaken up. Shortly after, rider veered off the path and almost smashed into a tree. Have to admit that his falls were upsetting and could have caused others to fall too. Another woman almost wiped out over a big bump - guide should have said to take it with speed. Tip - Go on a Sunday if concerned as the whole area is quieter with traffic and the stores aren’t open yet. Also, bring a windbreaker - we were all colder than expected. Be prepared for your feet to hurt a little and wear comfortable shoes.

I"m sorry that you didn't have a perfect experience. We've been touring for over 8 years and have never quite had the experience of someone "falling off" while riding. It is definitely not a normal occurrence. ( you can see that most reviews talk about how "safe" we are,, and how we make that a priority)
