I booked the sunset sail as a birthday treat for my husband. There was plenty of parking at the marina very close to where we were due to meet our captain. (There is a fee for parking.) Curtis, our captain, arrived promptly and took us to our boat. It was a beautiful evening and we were soon under sail and out in the bay. The yacht was very comfortable. Bring warm clothes as the breeze can be cool. There were just 4 of us so it was a lovely intimate trip. Curtis was a fantastic captain, funny, interesting and informative. He kept our glasses refilled (first glass included, very reasonable charge for additional glasses) and served up some cheese, meats and crackers. Curtis pointed out many interesting things around the north end of the bay. I was a little disappointed that we did not go further (perhaps down to Coronado bridge) but may have overestimated how far we could sail in 2 hours. We sailed back to the marina as the sun was setting. Overall, a great experience in large part because of our wonderful captain Curtis.
