We had a great time on this cruise. There isn't really a whole lot to say, because it's pretty simple. You get on the boat, you sail across the bay from Sausalito past the Golden Gate and then you turn around and sail back. The two hour length is ideal for a sunset cruise. It's late afternoon when you are leaving the harbor, and the last light is still showing in the west when you get back.
Still, simple isn't always easy, but these guys did a great job. The drinks and snacks were good, and they really took the time to make you feel welcome. They involved the passengers that wanted to in the sailing itself (raising and lowering the sails, steering) and were friendly without being overbearing. It did't hurt that we had a spectacular sunset that night.
The only real warning I have is pretty well covered, but it should be said. The San Francisco Bay is COLD. It was in the 80s in San Rafael, about a 15 minute drive from the parking lot in Sausalito, and by the time the cruise came back into the harbor, it was in the 50s. Dress warmly.
