We really enjoyed our guided bike ride through Central Park with Dan. It's a great way to discover all corners of the park and cycling back along the city streets was fun. Dan is a caring guide, concerned for safety and ensured everyone was keeping up in the large group. I really enjoyed the historical stories of the building of the Park and early development of New York. I'd have liked more of this rather than long lists of celebrities and how much everything cost - my daughter preferred the long lists of celebrities!

We did the 2 hours bike ride with Dan around Central Park. He was the best tour guide ever! He knew so much about everything in the park and buildings around. Highly recommend doing this tour

PROS: - Good quality of hybrid bicycles with 21 speeds - Possibility to take an helmet - You can rent for the whole day - Partial risk insurance available for 2$ per person CONS: - They only provide 2 padlocks for 3 bikes which was not very convenient to secure our bikes in some location where the places left in racks were scarce and not necessarily side by side. Also most fences we saw were ok to lock one bike, but were way too wide to lock two of them. It is also impossible to secure both the bike and detachable front wheel when you have two bikes with only one padlock. Having one padlock per bike would have been way more practical. But a chain would have been even more versatile. - Their insurance cover most cost if breaking occur, but only 200$ if the bike got stolen. Which was not very cool in a big city like this and not enough padlock in hands to secure every parts of the bikes. - The bike saddle was also removable and unsecured and therefore could have been stolen easily. They should add a little chain to attach it to the frame like many people do in urban area. I was stressed each time I had to leave the bike somewhere because of details like this.

Thank you for the great review of your adventure! We're glad you had a super time with the bikes and would've been happy to provide you with another lock if you'd like. Many guests stay on the bikes during their ride and don't want the added weight, but it's no problem to take one lock per bike. We have found that although the chain locks provide peace of mind, they are less secure with locking up the bikes. We hope you'd come back and visit us for another ride during your next trip or maybe join us for a guided tour with a group! - UB Team
