First time sailing and it was pretty special. Captain knew what he was doing - we sat back and enjoyed the ride. Gorgeous sunset. Wonderfully quiet without motor. Smooth.

So happy to make your initiation into sailing a positive experience! We will pass on your kudos to the captain - he's been doing it forever and is quite good at it. We are also glad the motor didn't have to be engaged since the winds don't always cooperate. Please join us again on a future sail! And thank you for taking the time to submit your review.

Wonderful trip! Great captain, nice boat, beautiful views! Learned a lot about lobster fishing, saw harbor porpoises, etc.

Sounds like a fabulous time! So glad the porpoises made an appearance; they are sometimes a bit shy. Very happy you enjoyed yourself and hope you join us again! Thanks so much for submitting your review.

This was a terrible experience. It was extremely overbooked and crowded. I did not get to sit with my family. There was an awful musician who roamed the boat and then tried to sell CDs. The ācaptainā was also very rude to me when I noticed how crowded the boat was and asked if we could exchange our tickets for a less crowded excursion. Overall this was a HUGE waste of money.

We are so sorry you were disappointed in your cruise. The capacity of the 151' Margaret Todd is 150 passengers, but we apologize if that did not give you enough elbow room. When passengers arrive on time, they get the opportunity to sit with their group - latecomers must be placed in position to balance the boat. Regarding exchanging tickets for a less crowded excursion, unfortunately, this request is impossible to honor since every seat on our sunset cruise has a passenger clamoring to take it. We hope you give us another chance in the future and regret you did not enjoy your cruise.
