Trip was very OK I had an English spoken / German spoken Group preferred - Italian was not that good.
Breaks were fine Watkins Glenn, Toronto. Hotels very good. Highlights: Niagara falls with firework, village Niagara in the lake, Cruise on the St.Lawrence River in Glananoque.

We were disappointed with this trip. It was multi-lingual which we were not aware might happen - much as I respect Italians and their language - after listening to them on the bus talking and their tour guide it just became noise - and very wearing over three days. The other passengers were also quite rude - when their tour guide was speaking they were quiet but when the English speaking guide was speaking to us many of the Italaians would speak quite loudly making it hard to hear our guide.

We were supposed to tour Niagara Falls at night - but what happened was we were left in the falls area and then told to make our own way back to the hotel which was some way out of Niagara. We had to catch a cab back because it was too far to walk. I thought on a tour we would be transported by the coach not dropped off and then told to make our own way back.

We were supposed to see Toronto and then depart in the evening. Instead we were taken to a food court inToronto - shown where to buy lunch then picked up an hour or so later. We were then driven to another shopping area called the Distillery about 10 minutes drive away and left to our own devices for another hour - a complete waste of time. It was not on the itinerary and served no purpose at all. It meant we arrived very late at the next overnight stop.

The tour was supposed to include luggage handling yet I had to load our suitcases on to the bus myself while the driver was in the dining room having breakfast. In the evenings except the last I had to unload other suitcases to get our suitcases out - I have no idea where the driver was.

This tour did not live up to our expectations and in my view verges on false advertising because not all of what was promised was delivered.

I would never travel with Empire Vacations again - and if this is the quality of what Viator provides I would be very reluctant to book anything through them again.

We found the tour to be excellent. The guides were both very knowledgeable and the coach and driver were very good too. The hotel in Gannanoque was very good. The only thing we did not like was the hotel in Niagara Falls, the hotel was not very good, the location was fair too far away from town and the breakfast was not good either. Nevertheless we would definitely recommend the tour.
