RiseNY

Begin your adventure with an immersive film by award-winning documentarian Ric Burns and narrated by Jeff Goldblum that transitions to an interactive self-guided walkthrough tracing tipping points in history that contributed to NYC's global pop culture evolution. Discover the rise of Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange in our Finance Gallery. Learn the history of mass media after the advent of Tesla's Coil in the TV/Radio gallery. Understand the laws of physics through the Otis elevator brake in our Skyline gallery. Visual and performing arts come to life in the Fashion, Music, Film, and Broadway galleries. Then prepare to soar to New (York) heights with a spectacular uplifting ride - a world-class flying theater - that gives visitors a unique bird's-eye view of the Big Apple. See the Statue of Liberty up close, fly over Central Park, Yankee Stadium, and more - all while seated inside a 180-degree 40' projection dome that gives the sensation of flight!

This place is overpriced. We paid $200 for a family of 4 and I was mad - they charged a “service fee” of $20! I hadn’t purchased/reserved or anything in advance so why charge me a “service fee”?! I asked them at the desk and they said “yeah - the company does that automatically.” Booooo👎🏻. I played it off so as not to spoil the experience. The exhibit is subpar compared to the other world class sites of NYC. The only fun part was the ride at the end …but still not worth the cost. Put your $ towards a broadway show ;)

I have lived here for a long time, if you have visitors out of town they will love this exhibition. If you're familiar with the Disney ride in Epcot Soaring they have a ride at the end of the exhibition NYC style. Highly recommend!

Loved this! Something totally different and lots of fun. Really take your time walking through take time to read and look at everything :) Otherwise it will be over too quick! Visited early March and walked straight in using a GoCity pass Highly recommend!
