Begin your adventure with an immersive film by award-winning documentarian Ric Burns and narrated by Jeff Goldblum that transitions to an interactive self-guided walkthrough tracing tipping points in history that contributed to NYC's global pop culture evolution. Discover the rise of Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange in our Finance Gallery. Learn the history of mass media after the advent of Tesla's Coil in the TV/Radio gallery. Understand the laws of physics through the Otis elevator brake in our Skyline gallery. Visual and performing arts come to life in the Fashion, Music, Film, and Broadway galleries. Then prepare to soar to New (York) heights with a spectacular uplifting ride - a world-class flying theater - that gives visitors a unique bird's-eye view of the Big Apple. See the Statue of Liberty up close, fly over Central Park, Yankee Stadium, and more - all while seated inside a 180-degree 40' projection dome that gives the sensation of flight!

A fun hour and a half! You start with an interesting and informative movie narrated by actor Jeff Goldblum. This was followed by a walk through museum showcasing the entertainment history of NYC, including the set of The Honeymooners. Tons of photo opportunities here! I really enjoyed the museum part of this tour. Finally, it's the 3D immersive film where you get to soar over New York city. They warn you that if you are prone to motion sickness or if you have a fear of heights (although your seat never leaves the ground) that this might not be for you. I suffer from both and the 3D experience was not an issue for me. My family and I loved it. My only complain is that I wished it lasted longer. 5 minutes goes by really fast!

Got this as part of the Go City app. Was at a loose end before other plans and stumbled across this. So glad we did. Thoroughly enjoyed it learning about the history of NYC and the final 3D ride set on New Year's Eve was also a nice touch. If you get the chance, would definitely recommend it. Highly enjoyable.
