Begin your adventure with an immersive film by award-winning documentarian Ric Burns and narrated by Jeff Goldblum that transitions to an interactive self-guided walkthrough tracing tipping points in history that contributed to NYC's global pop culture evolution. Discover the rise of Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange in our Finance Gallery. Learn the history of mass media after the advent of Tesla's Coil in the TV/Radio gallery. Understand the laws of physics through the Otis elevator brake in our Skyline gallery. Visual and performing arts come to life in the Fashion, Music, Film, and Broadway galleries. Then prepare to soar to New (York) heights with a spectacular uplifting ride - a world-class flying theater - that gives visitors a unique bird's-eye view of the Big Apple. See the Statue of Liberty up close, fly over Central Park, Yankee Stadium, and more - all while seated inside a 180-degree 40' projection dome that gives the sensation of flight!

We (26 and 61 year old women) really enjoyed this! We booked it mostly for the ride that's very much like the "Soarin" ride at Epcot, but also enjoyed the NYC history video and displays. The location is great, too. We spent about 90minutes total.

This attraction was awesome ! It was part of a package tour I was on and I didn't really know what to expect. It was part museum and part ride simulation. It really did feel like you were soaring through the sky (even felt what seemed like raindrops), turning, dipping etc. Saw a wide away of sights (Statue of Liberty, Central Park, as well as many further from Manhattan that I wasn't even sure what they were (I wish there had been narration or something to identify what we were seeing). I don't know if all admissions include this or because I was with a large group - at the end of the ride simulation we were offered the opportunity to ride again for $10 - I wish I had done that.

Rise NY takes you through the past of New York City. With reference to the many TV shows centred in the city, to the stars and legends that came from within the state itself. Many pieces are in display with the likes of Beyoncé’s rainbow gown, to Carrie Bradshaw’s tutu. To top it off, the ride experience is like no other and sold the entire experience. I’d go again just for that! A couple hours of entertainment at a reasonable price, and if you’re visiting during the week, it’s not too busy and very enjoyable!
