  • Camping
  • Camping is easy, but cooperation is important. Don't worry if you've never camped before; many people haven't. You will be supplied with all the camping equipment necessary for a trip of this nature, using quality tents, camping and cooking equipment. Everybody is expected to participate in setting up and breaking down the camp, and the professional guides are available to attend to your needs to ensure a positive camping experience. We camp at the best campsites, with hot showers and modern facilities. Swimming is available nearby. During booking, please note if you will need a sleeping bag
  • Tents
  • We use 4-person tents but only have two people in each. In the case of odd numbers in your party, there is a chance you will be paired with another person of the same gender from a different party.
  • Food
  • You will be provided with the food, but not the chefs. You guys are the cooks, waiters, dishwashers and, of course, the guests. On leaving the city, we stop at a supermarket and buy everything we need. The fare is a mixture of chicken, beef and vegetarian, all-you-can-eat and very tasty. Most people eat better with us than they have done previously on their travels. Please inform us of any dietary requirements/concerns at the time of booking.
  • Transportation
  • Tour operator uses comfortable 15-passenger vans with dual air-conditioning and stereo sound. Our vans are fueled by biodiesel, a vegetable oil-based diesel fuel, to promote green business. All of the vans have large roof racks for your luggage and the camping equipment.
  • What to bring
  • On your journeys, you will need sneakers or hiking boots, shorts, T-shirts, swimwear, sun protection, a water bottle, flashlight and something warmer in case there is a change in weather.
  • Weather
  • June through September in Yosemite is hot and sunny with occasional afternoon showers. May and October days are warm with cooler nights. As with all mountain environments, weather can vary quickly, so a layer of warm clothing is a good idea.
  • Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
  • Social distancing enforced throughout experience
  • Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
  • Gear/equipment sanitised between use
  • Transportation vehicles regularly sanitised
  • Guides required to regularly wash hands
  • Contactless payments for gratuities and add-ons
  • Face masks recommended

Our family of four had the most memorable experience in this trip. Chadwick was our guide and he was so wonderful, he took us to all the places that was described in the tour we booked. Yosemite is beyond words beautiful and we had the most amazing group of people to experience Yosemite with. Plenty of food was offered for breakfasts and lunches. Our guide Chadwick made our first time camping experience something to remember forever. We are so thankful and glad that we booked this tour.

Incredible Adventures did a fantastic job providing a well rounded experience at Yosemite. My tour guide Kate went above and beyond to give the group a variety of sights to see and experiences from different parts of the park. I traveled solo but still made friends within my group and was able to tag along on hikes. If you want a small taste of what the park has to offer and want to get a taste of true camping for the first time. I booked this trip months in advance and was able to get a great discount too. I highly suggest this tour! Below is an in-depth review of each day. Day one was spent hiking among Sequoia trees and ended with a scenic drive around the valley of the park. After a long day of traveling from San Francisco, this was the perfect balance of hiking, exploring and relaxation. Day two was a 'build your own adventure' day. I really appreciated this because our guide gave us the day to do whatever hikes/experiences we wanted in the valley, but still provided recommendations. Our guide Kate recommended the Mist Trial and it was a life-changing experience! The hike was challenging but exceeded my expectations of my own hiking abilities and the beauty of Yosemite. Day three we went to the high country and hiked to the stunning May Lake. We did a few more hikes in the day and ended the trip at Tenaya Lake which was the perfect relaxation stop to end the trip. Things I Wish I Knew: - I wish we received an email beforehand with more of a 'what to expect' note. For example, the way meals were split up. - Luggage: the guide brings a small trailer hitch so if you have a small carry-on bag from your travels, you can bring it along even though the website says you can't.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! The park itself is breathtaking & this tour ensures that you see plenty of what Yosemite has to offer on this 3 day tour. Our guide, Chad was incredibly knowledgable and ensured that the hikes were tailored to our capabilities and desires. We had ample opportunity to explore, take photos and soak in the views at multiple vantage points. I had an absolute blast driving through the park listening to tunes and getting to know fellow travellers around the campfire. Thank you Chad & Incredible adventures for memories that will last a lifetime!
