The oldest platform carousel still operating in the United States. Originally located on Coney Island and moved to the Island in 1884.

Old Whaling Church

Built by fisherman when Edgartown was known as a major Whaling port.

Aquinnah Cliffs

A National Landmark known for it's multi colored clay cliffs.

Edgartown Lighthouse

Built in 1828 and was the Lighthouse Keepers home.

Martha's Vineyard Camp meeting Association (MVCMA)

19th Century religious movement where people with many religious backgrounds gathered for up to a week at a time. In the beginning of these gatherings children were not allowed to attend.

Joseph Sylvia State Beach

Just went on this yesterday and it was okay. I was traveling by myself and wasn't going to say anything until I found out my driver was a pan handler, making sure to confront me as I got off the glorified van (it’s not a bus) and demand a tip. If you're reading this, David Soltz, don't ever do that again or I'll report you as an official pan handler. Don't ever ambush me like that again, or I'll make sure to get the tip portion refunded from Viator. I paid my fee to Viator for that van tour. Tips are given for extra effort. As far as I saw, you couldn't keep to your schedule because you were too busy stuffing your face at a stop. I guess the tip jar isn't getting full at the Karaoke bar, huh Davey? I don't care about your personal stories, stick to taking about the stuff I paid you for. In case I didn't make it clear, this tour is NOT WORTH it. Go on your on your and enjoy the sights and sounds of Dave eating at every destination. That's just my personal option however, I'm not telling you what to do.

We wish you had called the office. We always like to know how people feel so we can improve our company. We are not a bus we never claimed to be. We use vans so people can have a more intimate tour. I find it hard to believe David demanded a tip from you. He has done many tours and never once has anyone been upset with tipping. Most normal people like to hear something about what life is like on the island and adding a touch of who one is always helps. Maybe a tour is not your thing. David has had great reviews so we are not going to let your personal opinion destroy David's great reviews.

MV transport driver and storyteller extraordinaire, Rich made a rainbow out of a rainy day… he gave us a great recounting of the history of the island and its inhabitants and guests over the years… his stories of the rise of Steven Spielberg and the filming of Jaws were compelling . His jokes were pretty funny. In short, he was awesome! You will not be disappointed.
