I was impressed with Phil’s knowledge and how well he drove the bus and narrated with details of the island history.

MV Excursions took my group of 26 relatives on a tour of the island starting at the HyLine ferry terminal in Oak Bluffs and returning there four hours later. The two black vans were very clean and comfortable, and were waiting for us at the terminal. My guide, Wayne, who was a native of Martha's Vineyard, knew everything about the island and never stopped talking. We saw everything that needed to be seen and were dropped off on time four hours later at the ferry terminal. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend MV Excursions although it would have been nice to be offered water as it was a very hot day and fresh water is not always easy to find on the island.

I will be very honest—the company is great and whoever answers the phone is amazing! Our trip however, was boring and the tour guide (Tim or Jim; can’t really remember his name) was awfully rude to an elderly passenger and it upset quite a few of us. She was a few minutes late arriving due to mobility but she was the sweetest, cutest thing! He even said the dispatched was an idiot for placing the woman on the tour. We had (2) 15 min stops and it is not enough time at all, though they did mention this on their website so I cannot fault them. It was just the tour guide that ruined the experience for most of us. He was knowledgeable but lacked professionalism and empathy. I don’t want to bash this company because I love their customer service—I just think this needs to be addressed.
