The marina was a little hard to find. I could see it but had a hard time finding where to go in, even with GPS. The experience was very easy. Guide (my rental was unguided) explained where to go and sent a map to my phone. He was very friendly and helpful. We carried the kayak to the launch and off I went. The kayaking was wonderful. Just out from the marina were two very secluded beaches with a great view of the gulf. Stopped for a while at the beach and soaked up some sun. Then paddles through the mangroves and headed back. Saw a couple dolphins playing near me. Overall very relaxing and the views were memorable. After returning a little early, another couple who’d also returned early helped me carry the kayak from the launch to the grass area. As the guide was out on the guided tour I did not see him on my return. Simple, fun, easy. Would definitely recommend. I don’t remember the guide’s name-possibly Gentry, but he was great in the brief time I was with him.

First time on kayak. And espesially with my son. We are both 250 lb so on twin kayak we have 500 lb.

Easy online booking. Friendly staff. Equipment was at drop off point on time. Departed from Cocohatchee River Marina. Easy access to water. Gentry was friendly and helpful and answered all questions. We also encountered several playful dolphins. Will rent again. Highly recommend.
