Overview

Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance (time permitted and seasonal option) to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. What To Expect

Canyon de Chelly National Monument

Our guided 4x4 tours into Canyon De Chelly National Monument will be lead by experienced and seasoned guides. On your trip, you will visit many archeological sites that include cliff dwellings of the Ancestral Pueblo, rock art panels (both pictograph and petroglyphs) from all past and present inhabitants of Canyon De Chelly, and other historical sites. There will also be many stops for photographic opportunities, restroom stop, and a chance to purchase artwork from local Native artists. Possible stops include visiting a working farm and/or weaving demonstration, only if resident is at their canyon home.

I couldn’t recommend this tour company enough for your upcoming trip to see Canyon de Chelly. Customer service was to- notch as I had a couple questions prior to our tour by phone and email. They customized our tour by adding Hope Arch after our canyon tour and we learned there are other custom tours and experiences they can offer all you have to do is reach out to them and see what fun adventures you can get up to. We were lucky to have the owner of Beauty Way Jeep Tours guide us, Leander. We learned so much about the canyon and the Navajo history. We cannot wait to go back and try another adventure option. On our tour we met a couple of the other Beauty Way guides and their clients and it was obvious everyone was having a wonderful day, all of the guides were very friendly and enthusiastic. The vehicles used by Beauty Way are all nice comfortable and reliable Jeeps. We drove in a Jeep Gladiator for our tour. You can’t go wrong choosing Beauty Way Jeep tours!

After viewing the canyon from the rim, it was fun seeing another perspective. Our guide, Viola was great. As she spent time growing up in the canyon. We learned history and saw some beautiful areas in both arms of the canyon. Communication before was top notch.
