3-hour Private Tour

Overview
Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. We invite you to join one of our guides on a truly unique and one of a kind tour, and to support this 100% NAVAJO OWNED and OPERATED SMALL BUSINESS!! Ahéhee' (thank you)

Tripadvisor booked me on a tour that does not exist. All the tours are closed as of June 13, 2021 and have been closed for a long time. We tried calling the tour provider 6 times on the day of the tour but the phone number Tripadvisor gave us was not working. Now Tripadvisor does not acknowledge the text message and reviews I have submitted asking for a refund.

Hello we are opening up our tour Company July 8, 2021. Due to the legislation sign by the Navajo Nation president in 2020 all businesses related to tourism had to stop operation to stop the spread of Covid-19. On July 6, 2021 Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez signed the Legislation 0104-21 which allows businesses to reopen at 50% capacity. You should have no issue requesting a refund from trip advisor. Please accept my delayed responses as we had no answers tell July 6th if we were going to open back up for 2021. With being unemployed for a year and a half it will take some time to restructure and organize. For now email us at [email protected] if you have any further issues. Leander Staley Owner

All tour operators in Chinle are closed due to covid. I am not sure why trip advisor thinks that its business as usual. They should stop this practice immediately and not advertise about tour operators.

This company took my money back in August for jeep tour tickets in October. As far as I can tell, they are no longer in business due to COVID, so I never went on the tour. All attempts at communicating with them have failed, their phones seem to be disconnected. They never communicated with me to inform me that the tours are cancelled, and they are not cooperating with refunding my money. Their website is still taking payments for tickets and reservations, but NO TOURS as far as I can tell. I had to call hotels in Chinle to get information on this company as far as whether they are running or not. Note that their latest favorable reviews are from February. Buyer beware.
