Leander Staley of Beauty Way Jeep Tours was a great tour guide... friendly, knowledgeable, and highly dedicated. In addition to showing us the highlights of the canyon, he shared Navaho traditions and beliefs as well as interesting information about his family and the residents of the canyon. All in all, it was a fun and educational trip and I highly recommend them.

Leander took us on the tour through the Canyon. His stories of his life growing up in the Canyon were great! The history of the Navajo in the Canyon is probably more important than the natural beauty of the Canyon itself! It's an amazing place to see, but the history is fascinating! Much of Navajo and American history of the West was contained in this Canyon-even if you've read about the history, you miss the connection to places in the Canyon without someone like Leander taking you through . . . btw, Leander is the owner of the business that he acquired from his dad!

Really good tour of Canyon De Chelly with Navajo guide Dave Wilson. Was surprised at all of the petroglyphs and pictographs in the canyon that Dave pointed out. Also quite a few cliff dwellings throughout the area that were very interesting. All that inside a canyon with walls up to six hundred feet high. A lot of history here and a must see if you enjoy the beauty of the Southwest US. Our guide Dave grew up in the area and is very knowledgeable of the canyon and has a great sense of humor.
