3-hour Private Tour

Overview
Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. We invite you to join one of our guides on a truly unique and one of a kind tour, and to support this 100% NAVAJO OWNED and OPERATED SMALL BUSINESS!! Ahéhee' (thank you)

It was interesting to get to ride around the bottom of Canyon de Chelly and hear stories about the people who lived there. We were disappointed with our guide Dave, who although he knew a lot about the area, having grown up nearby, did not answer questions we asked, instead always reverting to canned comments and unfunny jokes. He barely touched on the geologic history of the canyon, which we were looking forward to learning more about. Maybe our expectations were too high after other tours we've taken this year of various attractions around the country, where the tour guides were top notch. Based on other reviews, it sounds like we just got unlucky with our tour guide.

Excellent knowledgeable guide Benjamin highly recommend. Canyon de Chelly is inspiring as are its Navajo inhabitants. The Beauty Way is the best guide service to use

There’s no better way as a foreigner to understand its people and it cultures, than to take a tour of this canyon , it’s more than just rock and amazing views. Diné guides like Benjamin bring to life centuries of history in a few short words . His knowledge and the love for his people which he was able to share with us although only three hours ( which is to short) was amazing. It changed the way we looked at this amazing country forever .
