Our daily 6 passenger semi-private tours are designed to be small and eco-friendly, leaving only our foot prints behind to help protect our locals (aka manatees). By keeping our tour group small, we can do our part in minimizing the impact of visitors, while also providing you with a comfortable and relaxing experience with manatees and your crew. We feel that we can be environmentally conscious while still delivering an exciting and educational experience.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Peter & Derek were so knowledgeable and personable. They truly care about the manatees and wildlife and it shows. As we were boating through the river, we were able to see many other “manatee tours” cruising as well. All of those boats contained 10+ people, while ours only had 6 (including the tour guides). This made for a much more hands-on and intimate experience with the manatees. The tour guides explained to us that if you splash/ make your presence obviously known to the manatees, they will swim away and you will not be able to make contact with them. The small tour groups that this business offers are definitely the way to go. I am so glad we chose to take a tour with Go Local. I could not recommend them enough.

We, a family of 4 with two teens (12/16), had three fantastic hours with Pete and Derek on their boat. It was not a semi-private tour but a fully private tour where they showed us the beautiful area around Crystal River while guiding and telling us about the animal life of course with focus on the manatees. We got all we needed from Pete/Derek - wet suits, snorkeling equipment, water….free unlimited fotos/videos etc. With great respect for the wild life they had us out swimming with the manatees in several locations all the time guiding us enhancing the experience. Ended the tour by a final swim at the springs with crystal clear water and manatee with a calf. After the tour we got all the beautiful fotos/videos send via Gmail - they were included in the price. Notice that you can do this all year as the feeding for the manatees has improved and they are there all year. Biggest recommendations. #manatee#tour##crystal rive#golocal
