Our family had the most incredible experience on our 3-hour manatee swim with Go Local Manatee Tours, and we can’t recommend them enough! We took the 10 AM tour with our group of four, and from the moment we arrived, Peter and Lacey made sure everything was perfect. There was a slight delay as we waited for a replacement cameraman, but Lacey, on her day off, stepped in without hesitation—and she was absolutely fantastic! She was calm, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, especially with our kids. She patiently guided them in the water, making sure they were positioned correctly for the best experience. Her love for the manatees and the local area really shined through as she shared so much fascinating information with us along the way. The highlight? We spent an entire hour swimming alongside a gentle female manatee! Watching her move gracefully through the water was nothing short of magical. We also had the chance to observe a manatee sleeping in one of the springs, which was such a peaceful and unique sight. Lacey then took us to another breathtaking spring with crystal-clear water, where we explored and took in the beauty of the area. Since we visited in March, the warmer weather meant we only saw about five manatees, but the intimacy of the experience more than made up for it. Being able to get up close, swim with these amazing creatures, and explore the springs was something we’ll never forget. In fact, our kids said this was one of the best things they’ve ever done in their lives! To top it all off, after getting out of the water, Peter welcomed us back with hot cocoa, which was such a thoughtful and cozy touch. If you’re considering a manatee tour, don’t hesitate—book with Go Local Manatee Tours! This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything!

The manatee tour was amazing. Josh and Marcus went out of their way to make sure we had an awesome time and found every manatee possible. It was late in the season but we got to see manatees in several locations and they drove around to check each spot for potential manatees. 5 star service! Highly recommend and will be back again.

Went on boat tour March 21st. We had a wonderful time. Pete was a great captain. Derrick made sure we had a space to view the manatees without getting crowded out by visitors from other boats. Helped with our wetsuits and masks until everything was fit and in place. Hot chocolate after was just what was needed to warm up. They really care and do what is needed to protect the manatees too!!
