Our daily 6 passenger semi-private tours are designed to be small and eco-friendly, leaving only our foot prints behind to help protect our locals (aka manatees). By keeping our tour group small, we can do our part in minimizing the impact of visitors, while also providing you with a comfortable and relaxing experience with manatees and your crew. We feel that we can be environmentally conscious while still delivering an exciting and educational experience.

We did the sunset tour and it was great! The captain is very knowledgeable and you learn so many cool facts about the manatees and environment. They also have another guy get in the water with you to help guide you and to take photos, which get sent to you same day for free! The two guys were locals, so you could tell they cared about the wildlife. They were very easy going, accommodating, and cared about making the experience good for us. We got to snorkel with a female manatee, it was amazing to see her up close and personal. We also got to watch a dolphin swim and fish for dinner! I would recommend this company to anyone!

Go Local Manatee Tours was the best choice. They are a small local company. Both Captain Peter and first mate Derick are born and raised in the area. They are incredibly knowledgeable of the river and the manatees. They are an eco conscious business that respects the local wildlife and is a part of the community; other tour groups in the area are owned by foreign investors. They’re goal is to maintain small group tours (no more than 6 people per tour) to respect the habitat of these beautiful creatures. They were warm, welcoming, and insightful. My husband and I learned so much. We were fortunate to see and learn about the large variety of wildlife in and around the river. I highly recommend this tour company. Fantastic tour! Very knowledgeable and local guides who have grown up in the area. They provide a wealth of information about local wildlife. Amazing time swimming with the manatees. They did a great job of finding the manatees and allowing us to see them. Includes incredible photos and videos of the experience at no extra cost. Don’t miss this opportunity for a wonderful tour!
