Wow! What an adventure! I’m a nutshell: -knowledgeable and friendly guides -water safety and respect to environment and animals -clean and comfortable wetsuits provided -amazing photography!! Pete and Josh were so prompt in getting us started on our trip—it was easy to find them and they were so warm and welcoming from the start. We went on the boat for a short ride and put on the provided wetsuits, which were all clean, dry, and fresh smelling. Then into the water! Josh guided us to interact with the manatees responsibly and kindly. We got up close and personal, but not too close to cause the manatees distress. He provided us such detailed and interesting facts about the manatees—their body weight is 3% fat! And the little hairs are called vibrissae and they are the manatees nervous system and provide input, like that they can detect individual human heart rates up to 10 feet away! The way Josh interacted both with us as tourists, the manatees, and the environment as a whole was amazing—his kindness, wonder, and respect were beautiful things to witness. 100% we would do this tour again. And again!

We had a great time in the water with the beautiful and gentle manatees. Walter, our guide and captain, was very knowledgeable and Derik was a great trip historian! Everyone was genuinely kind and made it fun for all of us, in addition to keeping it safe for the manatees. This small group tour was a highlight of our family vacation! Highly recommend this experience with Go Local tours!
