What To Expect

Lexington

We'll start inside the Old Fayette County Courthouse at The Thirsty Fox, a cozy lounge owned by renowned chef and multi-time James Beard nominee, Ouita Michel. From there, we'll venture to a hidden haunted space for a mixology experience. Next, we'll sleuth our way through city history that's been buried in Downtown Lexington buildings and famed Gratz Park, landing at a restaurant that dates back to 1948 and holds a whole lot of secrets.

We'll visit Gratz Park and other haunted corners of Lexington to uncover their shadowy pasts (21c First National Bank building, The Sire Hotel)

Lexington

We'll end at Columbia's Steakhouse Downtown, Central Kentucky's oldest restaurant, for a plate and dessert while sharing it's scandalous beginnings.

Such a fun and interesting tour! This is exactly what I want out of a spooky tour - much less (i.e. no) 'talking to ghosts' and much more learning about all of the crazy history in the area. I'm a local and still always end up learning so much on the Bites tours and this one was no different. Had a ton of fun actually getting to mix a cocktail at Cocktail University as well!
