Did you know Denver was founded over a barrel of whiskey? On this 3 hour Colorado Whiskey tour you will learn about Whiskies and their role in the founding of the city. On this walking tour you will visit Denver's oldest Irish Pub, a modern day saloon, and a local Denver distillery. Along the way you will sample different whiskies, learn how high altitude distilling is different than anywhere else and learn some light local history.

My friends and I were on vacation for the past week and we impulsively bought tickets for the Whiskey, History, and Outlaws Tour and it was honestly one of the greatest highlights of our entire trip!! Both of our guides, Will and Ben(? I hope I remembered the name right. He was a guide in training to eventually take over the whiskey tour, I believe.) were both so friendly and knowledgeable. It felt almost like we were meeting up with some friends who were showing us around town. The spots that we stopped by on the tour were so great that my friends and I went back to one of them the very next day! If we had more time on our trip, we definitely would have booked another tour. I guess we'll just have to visit Denver again really soon!

This was a really fun and informative tour! Lots of interesting stories about Denver's history, with some great stops for drinks. And you do not need to be a whiskey drinker to enjoy this tour, as you can order whatever you please. Our tour guide, Will, was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgable about both whiskey and Denver history, which made the tour quite entertaining. He also made great recommendations for places to eat, drink and visit while in Denver. I would definitely recommend!

Wil was great. Super hot day, but he tried to keep us in the shade when possible. Only suggestion would be to try to end closer to where we started - long walk back. Will was very knowledgeable and seemed to have done his research. Good tour.
