Did you know Denver was founded over a barrel of whiskey? On this 3 hour Colorado Whiskey tour you will learn about Whiskies and their role in the founding of the city. On this walking tour you will visit Denver's oldest Irish Pub, a modern day saloon, and a local Denver distillery. Along the way you will sample different whiskies, learn how high altitude distilling is different than anywhere else and learn some light local history. My husband and I took this tour with Will and had a blast! We're both natives, but we learned so much about Colorado and the founding of Denver. Not to mention, its deep roots in beer and whiskey culture. It was a great excuse to walk around Lodo and enjoy a few cocktails! Will was an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The pace of the tour was perfect... I didn't get bored and never felt rushed. I would recommend to all those who care about history and like to have a fun time doing it.

Will was the perfect tour guide- organized, informative, thoughtful, and funny! The planned stops along the tour were great, but Will also took the time to show us the Milk Market, art murals, and an alley filled with cat statues! We learned so much history about Denver on this tour and had a blast visiting the bars. We were a large group and even made friends during the tour. I highly suggest this even if you live here. We learned so much about downtown and dating back to the 1800's, much to see and do on this tour.
