What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

This is a brilliant experience which combines an informative tour on the breathtakingly beautiful Everglades with family fun on land. We saw alligators, herons and some amazing wildlife and took in stunning scenery on the airboat with a really knowledgable guide. The mining for gems experience on land kept our kids busy for ages and was great value too as was the ‘all you can drink’ cup too for the kids. The Native American talk was excellent and informative and we felt we had great value for money here. Oh, and parking is free and there were no queues for anything on the day we visited. I’d definitely recommend this place for a family day out.

It has always been on my wife's bucket-list to ride in an airboat. During our 7 day adventure in Florida, we traveled to Boggy Creek to fulfill that wish. We could not be happier with the friendly customer service, quality of our guide, and the overall experience we had "huntin' for 'gators". Of all the excursions we had in Florida, this is the one we are still talking about (and wishing we had taken the longer tour option). You need to go here. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered our tickets in advance and had no problem when we arrived at the ticket window. While we waited for our tour we visited the small shop inside and bought some snacks. Our tour departed on time and Captain Andy was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, pointing out different types of trees, flowers, and birds. While we didn't see any alligators, the boat ride was very fun. I highly recommend this adventure and will do it again!!
