We took the half hour air boat ride & loved it. We saw several gators & several species of birds. We did get a little misty spray off the front of the boat when going fast & turning, but we dried quickly on the breezy ride. Leave your hats in the car. Ear protection is supplied & I would encourage you to use them. Life vests available & required under 6 years of age. The compound also has an Indian Village with music & lectures for you enjoyment. There is a gator nursery where you can feed them by buying food. Several photo ops there with an air boat & cabin that you can pose for your pics. The restaurant there is a little pricey but the portions are big & the food was excellent. I would recommend the rib & brisket platter. Yummm!

We had a great time. I suggest the 1 hour tour though. We saw many different birds and multiple alligators. Our guide was fun and gave us information on the different species we saw. The mineral bucket was well worth the price. It was chock full of minerals, shark and crocodile teeth, and arrow heads. Great place to spend a few hours with or without kids.

Enjoyed the boat ride (Captain Andy) and the Native guide. Priced a little high? There might be a package including Gatorland.
