What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

We went with our 17 year old daughter who loved it. We hadnt booked before we went so had an hour's wait before the boat trip. We had missed the previous show about the native american indians but Okswanadaebedsaes (he did tell us how to spell his name but it's a little bit long!!) was still there and wow!, he was fantastic!! So informative and interesting about the native indians history and lifestyle, he was also very interested in our lifestyle too which made it seem like a conversation with an old friend, we didnt want to leave the conversation to go on the airboat!! But we did, and while we didn't see any gators, we did see lots of other wildlife of the area, captain of the boat was very informative. Make sure you put sunscreen on your face for the wind burn!! We loved every minute of our afternoon there and would highly recommend it for something away from the theme parks.

We have lived in Florida for YEARS and had never tried this. We are glad we did so that we can say we experienced it. We did the 30 min boat ride and saw one gator. But again we live here, so we didn't care that we didn't see more. They have an area in this attraction where you can see a bunch of little gators, a mining experience (we did it and the kids (3 and 5) loved it). It is very hot in the summer by the lake so don't forget sunblock and bug spray (not that we got bit tons but just in case). We felt safe and are glad we did it. The front desk woman was very short with me when I asked her questions, so that was probably the worst of it.

We visited Boggy Creek two weeks ago today it was fantastic all our family had a great time , the airboat was brilliant and the guy that took us had plenty of information to share with us . We also spent time listening to the person telling us history of how life would have been years ago very interesting .The children enjoyed panning for gems and seeing the baby alligators. Lunch was super in the restaurant .The whole visit was perfect , thankyou everyone running Boggy Creek we had a super day.
