What To Expect

Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures

You'll feel like you are flying as you race across the water surface at speeds of up to 45 miles per hour on a 30- or 60-minute ride. The 17-seater airboat lets you see parts of the wetlands inaccessible by car, while feeling the thrill of speeding across the water with the wind in your hair.

Having never been on an airboat before, I wasn't sure what to expect. It was fun! From the person at the desk who booked us, to the airboat guide himself, the employees were very personable and fun. The tour itself was great. You just glide through the swamp, and nothing is able to stand in the way of that boat! Even though they didn't think we would see an alligator at that time of day, we did! Very entertaining and also a learning experience.

We just turned up around 9.45am and had about an hours wait for a party of 4 adults to go on the 30 min boat trip. This was ok for us as we didn’t pre-book & expected a slight wait. The gate price is slightly more than advertised online (we paid $29.95 + tax each). We had chance to go around the site before going on the boat. There’s a small gift shop & restaurant but they are quite pricey. The boat trip itself was good, we did manage to see an alligator & the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would advise not to sit on the front row as there’s lots of bugs & some slight water spray. A good thing to experience!

this is a great ride. we saw gators, and birds, and just the ride is worth the trip. i had some problems, with my tickets, and they were very helpful, and worked with me. i am very appreciative.
