Step into a high-powered elevator that will take you on an exhilarating ride to the 94th floor at a speed of 20.5 mph (33 kph). The observatory provides unbeatable views of Chicago at all times of the day: Go in the morning or afternoon to admire the expansive blue of Lake Michigan, go at sunset for a romantic moment, or go at night when the city becomes a sea of twinkling lights. 360 Chicago Observation Deck offers several activities to complement the pretty view. The TILT option offers access to an attraction of outward tilting glass 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile, offering unique, downward-facing views.

Excellent!! New 'Tilt' feature had just opened on the day we went so that was an added bonus (extra $5.00)

Best view of Chicago, much better than Skydeck. One has to perform some tricks to reduce the blinking in glasses while taking photos. I would highly recommend the "Sun and Stars" option as Chicago looks great both in the day and in the night.

I went at night unfortunately. The views are still good but if you are a stranger in town it is difficult at night to pick out the buildings that he audio guide is telling you to look at. If I had more time in town I would have chosen the daytime instead.
