If you want to learn about and see historical sites associated with the Civil Rights movement, this tour is highly recommended. Mr. Williams is informative and shares interesting antidotes about the struggle for freedom. This tour is not just for history buffs but for children to know the sacrifices that were made for their benefit.

Jake Williams, is most knowledgeable and a former history teacher. If you're looking for a more than a history of Montgomery, meaning of certain architecture, statues, Jake is your contact. It was a customized 8-hour tour for ten. Jake provided us with an extensive tour around Montgomery as well as Selma. We walked the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The finale was Jake's retrospective of the 54 mile walk from Selma to Montgomery, a portion of which he had walked with Dr. Martin L. King. Jake provided me with a most enjoyable, educational experience, one which I will never forget!
