Breadth and scope of Mr. Williams' expertise. His pride in Montgomery and particularly Alabama State University was infectious.

A group of six women, connected through Bozeman, Montana but from various points west, made a pilgrimage to Montgomery to participate in the Selma Voting Rights march on March 1, 2020. We started our week-long stay with Jake's tour! It was the perfect beginning. Jake sat with us for about an hour, sharing his own history as well as the history of civil rights in Montgomery and Alabama. Then we boarded the bus for his excellent tour. Jake is the youngest of 16 children, the first to graduate from high school and college...a proud alum of Alabama State University. He shared his considerable knowledge as well as his humor and made it fun! I can't say enough good things about Jake, his tour and his care of our group.

We came on a pilgrimage to the Legacy Museum and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Jake's tour was the perfect way to set the tone and context for the day. He is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. And to top it off, he introduced us to Davis Cafe! I highly recommend this tour!
