What To Expect

Egmont Key State Park

Our first stop is over the sunken ruins of ‘OLD FORT DADE’. Here you will see lots of fish, hermit crabs, conch and plant life. You may also see manatees on our trip. Next, we will pull the boat up to the beach at Egmont Key, where you can hop off and go exploring across the island. You can snorkeling some more from the shoreline. You can picnic, go shelling or you can sit back and relax on the white sandy beaches. While you are on the island, we recommend that you take the short walk inland to search for gopher tortoises. They are cool to spot as they graze the grass fields. Time to head back to port! Once again we will search for marine life along our route back to the marina. We always have a surprise or two in store for you! Come along with our captain and crew as lead you on an experience of a lifetime!

We had such a great time time doing this excursion with Island Adventure. We had plenty of time to snorkel, tour the island for a bit, and see some wildlife. It was a great way to spend the day and just make memories. We will be back to do to do again for sure.

Great trip! Awesome knowledgeable guides. Saw dolphin, manatees, and shells! Loved seeing the lighthouse and old fort ruins. Bring snacks and drinks is a must. Fun time had by hubs, me, and 17yr old son.

If you are looking for the best snorkeling and boating adventure, look no further. Our family of 8 did the private 4 hr tour and could not have been more happy with the tour. John and Tanner were outstanding guides and worked hard to make our experience memorable. John jumped in with us while snorkeling and helped us know what to look for and tought us about sea life. Given what we read about this tour on Yelp, we had high expectations, but our tour exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this company for anyone! John spent extra time to patiently wait for dolphins in areas they saw them before. We saw a lot of them! Excellent tour John and Tanner!
