Our story starts out with a booking via Viator to have a 4 hour tour of Acadia park about 6 months prior to our cruise. Since we had a family of 8 at the time of booking the only option was to reserve two 4-person vehicles. Three weeks before our visit, Clare, the wonderful owner of At Your Service Tours contacted us and said that she had a larger vehicle available only for the 8 of us, with a partial refund also! Who goes to all that trouble to help a customer? Well, Clare did. What a marvelous time with our tour guide Paul. Paul had the vehicle parked & close to the port after tendering in from the cruise ship. He catered to the 13 year old and 10 year old that was with us and made sure there were plenty of opportunities to get out of the vehicle and explore the beautiful areas of the park where he stopped. Paul knew exactly how to time the tour watching the clouds move out and the sky clear on Cadillac Mountain was fantastic, and the foliage happened to be beautiful that day. Full of knowledge and fun facts, we all enjoyed and learned a few things from Paul. He even made sure that I received my iPhone that I left in the vehicle after the tour (and after I was already on the tender back to the cruise ship!). Cannot say enough good things about Clare and her company. Thank you to Clare and Paul for helping us make such wonderful lifetime memories and we hope you have many successful years with your tour company!

Thank you so much for this kind review! It means a lot. We really try to provide a quality service. We are a small family business so when you call us you will be talking to an owner, me or my husband Jeff. At the pier, it will always me greeting you with a sign. Going through booking sites is fine, but you really get the best information and options when you go directly to our website or talk directly to us. I am so glad you enjoyed your tour with Paul! He has been with us for 15+ years and is a dear friend. He is great with kids being a grownup kid himself exploring Acadia.

Booked the 4 hour tour - near the end of the season. Arriving by cruise ship - a tendered port. Pick-up scheduled at 9:00 am. At 9 am, ship's captain, due to high seas, announced too dangerous to anchor and safely tender passengers. Called to cancel tour. Only expected 50% refund of pre-paid tour (per clearly stated tour policy). Imagine our surprise when we received an email indicating At Your Service would take the loss of our ship unable to anchor safely and IMMEDIATELY refunded the balance! This organization exemplifies outstanding customer care and went ABOVE and BEYOND. Well done At Your Service.

Thank you. It is always difficult and disappointing for all involved when a ship can't come in. I hope you can come back again!

The tour was conducted by a lifelong resident with a deep respect and pride of her home state. This was our first visit to Maine, and we wanted to be sure to experience the key highlights during our short visit. Katherine is very qualified, professional and thorough! We would highly recommend.
