Paul patiently waited for us for over an hour beyond our appointed time, as the sea was too rough for our tenders and the cruise company had to hire a local whale watching boat. We thoroughly enjoyed this leisurely tour. Paul gave us lots of opportunities to stretch our legs and explore on our own: through the nature center at Wild Gardens of Acadia, along the ocean paths at Thunder Hole and Otter Point, grabbing a quick bite at the Jordan Pond House, walking and taking photos at the beautiful Little Long Pond Preserve and Asticou Azalea Gardens in Northeast Harbor. Along the way, Paul filled us in on the history of the Park and Mount Desert Island, with colorful stories about the wealthy philanthropists – including John D Rockefeller, Jr. – who were instrumental in its creation. Thank you, Paul, for a delightful afternoon of adventures and story-telling! {Note: TA asks "who was with you?" and gives 6 choices, none of which fit! I am a 76-yr-old woman, traveling with 2 adult daughters. I answered "Friends"]

We had a fantastic experience with Caleb, our driver. He was knowledgable and adapted the tour to meet our needs. His attitude and his youthful spirit is exactly what we needed and desired. We look forward to a return visit.
