We were on a cruise and all the excursions to Acadia National Park were filled early. Boy, am I glad they were! If we had booked a tour of Acadia through the cruise lines, we never would have had the good fortune of booking through At Your Service Tours! What a wonderful experience! Everyone I spoke with at the company were helpful and they even altered the time of our tour because we were late getting off the boat due to customs check. Our tour guide was Paul. The van was clean with cold bottled water offered throughout the trip. Paul kept us laughing the entire time and had answers to all of our many questions. His knowledge of the area was exceptional, and his passion for Bar Harbor and Acadia was quite evident. Paul showed us areas that I can't imagine most groups were able to see and explained history along the way. We had a 4 hour tour and he had us back for lobster before we had to board the ship. What a wonderful day with a wonderful tour guide, Paul! I cannot recommend At Your Service tours more highly! They were excellent!

Bill Thurston AKA “Big and Ugly Bill” is a delightful mix of history, trivia and humor. Knowledgeable and entertaining, he adapts easily to the interests of each individual, pointing out unexpected places locals enjoy. Having worked on fishing boats as well as a landscaper in the area, gives him the ability to identify vessels and plants. In the off-season he reads and researches the area seeking answers to questions he has been asked. He brings maps, suggests authors and relates stories about local people. He is quite the character, dispensing wisdom and advice.
