Fantastic experience! It’s my first time kayaking in the open water. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly! Learn how to use the paddles from other paddlers nearby. Saw different birds, a mother and baby manatee, a turtle and even a dolphin. Enjoy the trip a lot

This place is a ripoff! Their kayaks are junk & the single kayak doesn't even have a backrest! They are just in it for the money. They try to nickel & dome you to death. They will RENT you a clear plastic phone case for $10 that you can BUY at Walmart for $4.96. They will rent you a dry bag too, that you can buy cheaper than rent. Also, if you are even just a FEW MINUTES LATE, they will charge you $25 PER 15 MINUTES you are late, per boat!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! They try to upsell you everything!! They even charge you $20 EACH to rent their dive flag to go swimming in a public waterway!!

Wow! Someone has anger issues…. Let’s start at the top shall we? A. Some kayaks have a built in back rests, others have a seat attached but they ALL have some sort of back support. You’re not just sitting on a floating plank like you are in 1884 and trying to get down the river to catch your dinner. These are sit on top kayaks designed for comfort and stability. B. The ā€œWalmartā€ $4.96 rental phone case is actually not a $4.96 phone case. It is actually a brand called Seawag that COSTS us over $10.00. We have a different brand for sale for $24.99 called Geckobrands, and those cost us even more than the rentals. You are throwing out prices for equipment that you can find cheap at Walmart, BUT IT IS ALSO A DIFFERENT BRAND AND QUALITY LEVEL!!! Can you buy Nike at Walmart for $14.99? NOOOOO, but you can buy shoes there for $14.99, just not Nike… By the way, no one twisted your arm to rent or buy anything, so if you can’t afford it, just say no!!! C. We do not charge you $25 UNLESS you are more than 15 minutes late, which you obviously were since you are commenting on it. You rented equipment for a certain amount of time and paid for that time availability. If you return it late there is a fee, just like anything you rent in life. If you were responsible and returned something you rented when you said you would then there would be no fee right?!? Do what you say you’re going to do and then you have no issues…. OMG, I feel like I’m talking to a teenager who is late coming home from the movies and didn’t call home to check in before going to his buddy’s house. You said you would come home, so just come home, DON’T BE LATE, don’t get reprimanded… lol D. The dive flag is required for you SAFETY because the ā€œpublic waterwayā€ you are talking about also has boats in it. If you don’t have a dive flag and you pop off to swim in an area that isn’t marked as a swimming area, then boats drive through. No dive flag and the boat has no idea you are there. Next thing you know the coast guard is life flighting you to Tampa’s trauma center because you had a boat propeller put a gash in your head. Obviously for you it wouldn’t be a huge deal since yours is full of air, but normal people have brains in their skull and that would suck for them. Also, it’s not $20 each for a dive flag, It’s $20 for a dive flag PLUS, a mask, snorkel, anchor, and a pool noodles to help you float. During manatee season it’s actually $30 because it includes a wetsuit as well. To sum things up, it sounds like you are a few things. Cheap, obviously late to return things you rent, and you give false information when you don’t get your way. You try to take down a business with your false accusations but unfortunately for you, anyone with the brains in their head can see what really happened with our factual response. Have a GREAT day and try smiling more… it’s AWESOME!!!!
