Maverick assigns your seats based on what other people are on the tour and weights of individual passengers. They arbitrarily combine couples or groups of passengers to each flight over the Canyon. There are two seats in front by the pilot and there are four seats in the back. If you are fortunate enough to get the two seats in front beside the pilot or on the left rear behind the pilot, you will have amazing views. If you are assigned the two middle seats or the far right seat, forget getting to see much. The back right window is smaller and has obstructed views. Also, our pilot kept the orientation of the helicopter such that the right side was always away from the best views of the Canyon. I would not waste my money again, since the arbitrarily seat assignment determines your views, or lack thereof.

We are disappointed that you did not have a 5-star experience with us. Our seating is assigned by the weight and balance of the aircraft for safety. We also operate the ECO-Star helicopter, specifically designed and engineered for air tourism with theater-style seating and wrap-around glass to provide optimal visibility for the guest. We appreciate your honest review and are sorry that you felt it did not provide you with the best views of the canyon. Kind Regards, A Maverick Team Member

The beauty and expanse of the Grand Canyon. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and took time to point out highlights and historical info. Great experience and being able to share this with my grandsons was amazing!
