Overview
Sit back and enjoy the gentle slopes, winding country roads and Caribbean-like views on a Traverse City Wine Tour. The Magic Shuttle Bus is a chauffeur service with an entire fleet ready to take your group around Old Mission Peninsula.

The 45th parallel, is home to the worlds most famous wine-making regions AND Traverse City. Grapevines planted in the region enjoy the perfect amount of sunlight for optimal growth. This event has an exceptional concept, however it severely lacked execution. We were looking forward to this weekend to have a nice getaway from the chaotic day to day realities. Thankfully I was with great company and we decided to make the best of the wine tour, despite feeling disappointed at almost every turn. Systems and Operations I received multiple emails about updating the travelers' information which had already been taken cared of shortly after payment. When I called TripAdvisor's sister company, they did not have a clue as to why I was calling and I would have to explain the whole situation each time I called in. False Advertising Our "tour guide" was actually a bus driver--no tour guide whatsoever. The "limousine style bus" was a school bus with sectional seating. Multiple wineries hesitated to let us enter since the tour guide company did not reserve our spots as they were supposed to. One winery told us they had turned away the tour guide company until recently as this was a repeated offense they made. We were very disappointed in the price we paid for false advertising. We also had a hard time finding the bus at a couple wineries because our bus parked so far away from where we were. Had it not been for another party waiting with us who found it, we could have missed the bus! Price On the subject of price, our payment did not include any of the wine tastings for the event. We simply paid for an overpriced driver and a company which under delivered. My Hopes for this Event in the Future My friends and I could have created a more enjoyable experience visiting multiple wineries on our own. I hope this company gets more honest and transparent about what they are offering and what they are charging for it. While I understand the price of transportation and compensation of drivers are important, it does not compare to the operations and care we and other guests should have received. We simply did not get what we paid for.

Hey there! We are sorry your tour with us fell short of your expections! I would like to address some of these issues you addressed. First, the emails you recieved requesting to update travelers information is from Viator, not us. If they do not have the necessary information, they will continue to send you these emails until they have the information they need in regards to your tour. If you feel your tour guide was not up to par, then we ask that you give us a call and let us know who your driver was, and what you felt he did, or did not do properly on the tour. This way we can address them directly to improve the tour quality. Pictures of our vehciles can be found on our profile, as well as our website, and we suggest viewing them prior to the tour, so you know what type of vehicle you will be traveling in. As for the wineires, being that we are in the midst of a pandemic, most of the wineries are not accepting reservations, and those that are accepting reservations, do not hold tables. It will not this under "additional information" on the listing. We ask that you are flexible with us at this time, being there may be small wait times at some of the locations. Furthermore, If you look back to the listing you booked this tour on via TripAdvisor, you will see under the "exclusions", it will state that the costs at the wineries are not included in the price of the tour. It is illegal for transportation companies to purchase alcohol for our patrons, that is why transportation costs, and costs for alcohol at the wineries will always be seperate in Northern, MI. Regardless, we pride ourselfs in quality service, so feel free to give us a call so we can offer a resolution to the experience you had! Thank you for your time. -Sean Mackey

My boyfriend and I went on this tour Saturday. Mike was our tour guide and he really knocked our socks off! A good tour guide can really make or break something like this so we were super grateful we were on his bus! We were definitely the ā€œfun busā€.... 2 girls from a different bus even requested to join ours because we were having such a great time! Mike is the man! 10/10 recommend.

This trip was perfect for people new to the area and wine tastings or people who have been here before and need a ride. Our driver Mike was an awesome guide! Mike safely drove us around, gave us tips for each winery, and was willing to take as many pictures as we wanted. The winery locations were perfect and come highly recommended.
