6 Day Yosemite Backpacking - The Hidden Yosemite

Overview

Many believe that the northern portion of Yosemite National Park is the last true wilderness of the Sierra Nevada. This trip will take you through the less visited portion of the park that is home to deep canyons, dense old-growth forests, and stunning alpine peaks and ridges. On this adventure you will camp besides rivers, and backcountry lakes that provide a dramatic landscape of the Northern Yosemite terrain including camping in upper Slide Canyon beneath the Sawtooth Ridge. If you’re looking to push yourself and have an authentic wilderness experience, this is the adventure for you!

Our daughter had a transformative adventure with lasting adventures. The first thing she said to me when I picked her up was that she was a different person from her experience. She was a bit nervous at first and the guides with the group support her to face her challenges and empower herself. 6-day, Youth High Country Yosemite Backpacking. I didn't drop my son off nor pick him up, so I wasn't able to engage with the staff in person, but I'm very happy with everything about the experience. From the registration process, and scholarship help, to the careful attention to safety and ensuring best practices, this operation really covers all the bases and helped us make it happen. I felt very confident that my son would be safe, have a transformative experience, and learn so much. They had wonderful wildlife encounters (all safe!), saw epic canyons and waterfalls, felt exhilarated, and didn't have phones, yes! Best of all, my son and his buddy (both 15 yrs) came back so energized, confident, positive, and ready for more adventures. If you want your child to have a grounding, confidence-building experience that teaches them how to help in a group situation, Leave No Trace wilderness ethics, and how to connect with themselves in one of the most spectacular nature settings on the planet with experienced guides who share their stoke for life, Lasting Adventures is IT!
